[Company strength]
We excel at processing precision parts. We possess in-house equipment for machining, plane grinding, annealing, and coating processes. Surface treatment is outsourced, but we can provide integrated manufacturing by performing quality control after processing. We can supply products in a short delivery time from small lot production to mass production. This is done using our vertical- and horizontal-type machining centers (16 sets), CNC lathes (35 sets), plane grinder, wire cut EDM processors (2 sets), and general-purpose machines (13 sets). We have prepared technical support for 2D and 3D using CAD and CAM, and a computer manufacturing management system using LAN and EDI, etc. We have recently been strengthening human resource development for our young staff. As a result, two staff members have received first-class technician certification, and four staff members received second-class technician certification. We are expanding the repertoire of material we can deal with, and conducting research in partnership with Yamagata Prefecture Industrial Technologies Center to examine processing characteristics.

[Business description]
[Assembly business] Camera lens barrel assembly had been the center of our business following our foundation in 1958. We are reducing the number of staff according to the shift in our customers’ manufacturing base to foreign countries. However, we are continuing to improve our precision assembly system by introducing a clean bench equipped with a ventilation duct. 
[Precision metallic parts business] We have been expanding our business for the past 30 years with a focus on precision metal parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The know-how we acquired in manufacturing camera lens barrel parts is utilized to manufacture optical system parts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We possess machining technology with which a round rod with a thickness of 5 mm or less can be finished with cylindricity of 5 μ, and end surface parallelism of 3 μ.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We can conduct integrated manufacturing from processing to assembly based on our track record and experience with camera lenses. We excel at manufacturing products from several pieces to several dozen pieces, so we can be of great help for R&D and trial manufacturing. We also treat high-precision parts for mother machines, etc. We can deal with compound processing, so we can also support the manufacturing of complicated products, as well as independent processing using a lathe and a milling cutter.

[Representative's message]
We aim to become an enterprise that is useful for society, on the basis of the concept of providing high-quality, highly precise products. We are confident that we can be highly valued by supporting customers from the start of new product development. We are expanding our business area to parts for medical treatment and vacuum equipment. This is done by making full use of the accuracy and reliability for cylindricity and parallelism of thin round materials that we have accumulated in our semiconductor manufacturing equipment business. We participate in domestic exhibitions two or three times a year in order to acquire new customers.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Two staff members in the administration department who have acquired technological knowledge support inquiries from major manufacturers as the point of contact. Staff in the engineering department and manufacturing department will support specific technical matters. We have assigned staff with abundant on-site experience in our technical department, so we may be able to make a proposal to reduce costs in the drawings. We have assigned a staff member with fluency in English and Chinese in our Tokyo HQ to support our overseas expansion. This is how we can quickly support customers from responses to inquiries to quotations and shipping/delivery.
