[Company strength]
Our own environment: We have years of experience in precision processing of various special steels. This is why we are willing to take on challenges no matter how tough the machining of the material can be. We plan to expand our plant in the fall of 2014 and introduce 4 large facilities to process heavy objects (for up to 15 tons). We will also secure space for the future addition of facilities.
External environment:
Our advantages include:
(1) Our location is close to a special steel manufacturer. 
(2) There are not many major companies in our area, so we can hire good people.
(3) Our location has fewer natural disasters than other areas. 


[Business description]
Our ejector pin department manufactures the only ejector pins for metal molds that use Hitachi Metals’ DAC. These products are used mainly by automakers for manufacturing die-casting dies. The department also manufactures special-steel precision shafts. Our machining department manufactures a variety of special steels in small amounts. We deliver high-precision products by making use of the technologies we have accumulated over many years for machining difficult-to-machine materials, such as die steels, superalloys, and titanium. We also have a quality assurance system that is recognized by users and external certification organizations, and experienced craftsmanship. 

[Strength of products/technologies]
Machining of superalloys: Our company has been conducting machining for many years, so we have the optimal facilities, tools, and accumulated manufacturing know-how.
Shafts of up to diameter 20: We will suggest and manufacture the best material for the required performance for components that are expected to wear down or be damaged quickly.
Thin, ring-shaped machining: We can provide precise machining when geometric precision such as roundness, concentricity, and angularity are required for round products. This is done by proposing jigs developed in-house, and using vertical lathes and combined grinding machines.


[Representative's message]
We have mainly been engaged in precision lathe machining on special steels since our establishment in 1970, and have gradually expanded the scope of our business. Starting from 2000 we expanded our sales channels to cover the entire nation. Currently more than 70% of our orders come from other prefectures. We will continue to further expand and enhance our facilities, our processor network, and our own integrated production system to realize cost reduction on the customers’ side. We aim to provide competitive quality, delivery, and cost from a faraway place like Shimane Prefecture through quality control based on JIS Q 9100. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have 4 sales representatives outside Shimane Prefecture (each also holding other posts).
Our internal facilities have been enhanced, and outsourcing destinations secured, so we can collectively receive orders. 
We expect to complete a new plant in September 2014, at which large facilities will be introduced gradually. 
A company website is under construction. A person in charge of English-language work will be trained (tentative).

We have not thoroughly researched the ejector pin market, but our pins for die casting molds have been adopted by many major automakers and primary contract manufacturers.
