MINEYAMA IRON WORK Co., Ltd.

We are a parts manufacturer that has extensive operations in small-sized, irregularly shaped forgings.

Our company was founded in 1948, and we are a well-established parts manufacturer. We have accumulated know-how as a manufacturer specialized in die forging heated forging stock. We provide forgings that maintain dimensional precision within ± 3 mm (± 0.1 mm in coining). We have extensive operations covering sewing machines, automobile engines, automobile undercarriage components, high-pressure joints, and components of construction machinery. We manufacture all molds in-house, and we can propose products with the necessary precision and the optimum cost. We also respond to the needs of high-mix low-volume production, and we intend to cultivate overseas markets.

[Company strength]
Our company manufactures all dies in-house. These are the crucial parts in die forging. This is why we can make detailed proposals covering the manufacturing standards and shape of a product, so that the product is supplied with the necessary precision and optimal cost. We often offer proposals for integrating welded parts, reducing assembly time by changing the product shape, and improving durability by changing the material. We make proactive cost-cutting proposals for the customer by looking at the structure of the dies and other aspects of the operation. This is done by utilizing the strength of our integrated production system, which covers from design to manufacturing of the molding dies used in die forging.

[Business description]
Our company is a hot-die forging manufacturer. Since our establishment we have specialized in important but small-sized, irregularly shaped parts, such as industrial sewing machine parts and automobile engine parts. We now provide automobile parts, safety hardware, high-pressure joint parts, construction machinery and hardware parts, and other components that require high strength and high durability, which are characteristic of forgings. Our customers are in a wide range of industries. Our company is particularly good at high-mix low-volume production, and we can accept small lot orders. Our company is a member of Tango Techno-Center.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Product dimensional precision (when forged) is ± 0.3 mm, which can be ± 0.1 mm by means of coining. We offer stainless forging. The weight of the product should be 10 to 3000 g. We also provide machining after forging, if necessary. We excel at light to medium-weight small, irregularly shaped parts, which we manufacture with ± 0.1 mm precision after forging. Some of our customers use these components without applying any surface treatment.

[Representative's message]
We have supplied our customers with small, high-precision forged parts since our establishment in 1948 as a die forging manufacturer specialized in small articles. These were used for industrial sewing machines and automobiles. We quickly introduced air stamp hammers that required considerable skill to handle when we were faced with the need for mass production of irregularly shaped products. We used these machines to mass-produce various products. We will continue to make proposals to provide products with the necessary precision and optimal cost for the customer. This will be done by utilizing the track record we established over many years, and our die manufacturing knowhow.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
