[Company strength]
Our integrated production system covers from mold design and manufacturing to pressing, welding, assembly, and coating. We have realized precision processing through detailed adjustments of our in-house processes while reducing lead times and costs. Our company is currently engaged in press stamping many kinds of auto parts excluding the body itself. We have earned deep trust especially for our engine parts and automotive structure parts by accumulating one of the most extensive track records in the industry. 

[Business description]
Our company was initially established in 1941 as a manufacturer of sheet metal parts for aircraft under the company name Sanjo Kotsu. We restarted operations after the war as an auto parts manufacturing plant. We actively expanded the scope of our business as a partner company of auto parts makers from early on. Our main business is the manufacture of metal stamping parts for automobiles and other transportation equipment.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our strength is in one of the rare technologies in the metal stamping industry: irregular-shape drawing and pressing of thick objects. We have mostly dealt with components of transfer equipment, such as oil pans for trucks, and pulleys for engines. We are working on the replacement of cut products, forged products, and cast products with sheet metal parts, as well as high-tensile steel plate processing. This is to help our customers reduce costs.

Meeting the customers’ needs is more important than manufacturing our own products in the formed and fabricated materials industries we serve. We hope to develop unique technologies and train engineers to support this goal. Our approach to challenges in a broad range of fields unconstrained by preconceived ideas is taking shape, including promoting our operations in Asia. We welcome this time of progress to grow as a global company. 

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We decided to build a plant in Indonesia by partnering with a local partner. This was done from the point of view that having a production site in Indonesia would facilitate further development. We conducted a feasibility study on business expansion in Indonesia in 2012 with F/S support from SMRJ. We concluded a joint venture agreement in August 2013, we plan to send employees from Japan to officially start operations at our Indonesia plant in 2014.
