Kochi Kigatakogyo Co., Ltd.

We are an all-round manufacturer of molds that manufactures casting molds for various industries and fields.

We manufacture casting molds for various fields such as automobiles, construction and agricultural machinery, and shipbuilding. We centrally manage digital data from development to mass production, and customize molds for all processes from materials to machining, and assembly. This is how we have realized high quality, short lead times, and low costs. We have developed casting products through photofabrication without using molds by introducing a 3D printer. We also have other advanced technologies such as resin molds for super antifriction casting. We created these products through our 10-plus years of accomplishments in RIM molding, and large infusion molding methods for CFRP products.

[Company strength]
We are an all-round manufacturer of molds. We produce various casting molds for various industries such as automobiles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, and shipbuilding. We centrally manage all the digital data from development to mass production, and customize the molds to suit all the processes from materials to machining and assembly. This is how we have realized high quality, short lead times, and low costs.

[Business description]
We manufacture and sell machinery molds. We produce metal molds, resin molds, wooden molds, shell molds, CFRP products and molds, and casting products created using photofabrication without molds. We also carry out offshore procurement of mass-produced steel castings, such as SC, FDC, FC, AC, and SCS.

[Industry]
Machinery mold manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
We have advanced technologies. These include resin molds for super antifriction casting, created through our 10-plus years of achievements in RIM (Reaction Injection Molding), three-dimensional molding through photofabrication, and large infusion molding methods for CFRP products. Photofabrication with a 3D printer has allowed us to verify shapes, fitting, and interference more quickly and accurately. In addition, a ceramic casting mold method that uses photofabrication as a sublimation pattern has helped us to manufacture prototype castings more accurately and quickly. This has enabled us to save on prototype mold-making costs, mold storage costs, and time.

[Representative's message]
We have been making molds for machinery since our establishment in 1965. We have focused our efforts on realizing high quality, short lead times, and low costs so that we can satisfy increasingly sophisticated and diverse industry needs. We are meeting the demand for more precise, more complicated designs and production by constructing a Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) based on our state-of-the-art CAD/CAM system. We introduced a 3D printer 8 years ago to develop casting products through photofabrication and photofabricated molds without using conventional molds. We will continue to enhance our development division to respond to the needs of our customers.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
