DIECAST TOWA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD.
We have an integrated production system that covers mainly automobile parts as well as design, molds, die casting, and assembly.
We can manufacture in small to large quantities, using appropriate die casting materials, processing, and assembly systems. Our strengths are: (1) high productivity supported by advanced technology and optimal molding methods, and (2) high quality stabilized according to our own “Smart Factory” cast quality control system. Our expansion started with engine and exterior parts for Mitsubishi Fuso and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as well as orders and mass production requests for automatic transmission parts from Aisin AW. We have focused our efforts on enhancing our casting technology and quality as well as human resources.
[Company strength] 1. Flexible production capacity from small to large lots in the form of die casting materials, processing, and assembly. 2. High productivity resulting from optimal mold production methods (supported by our accumulated technology), and high-cycle automation lines. 3. High quality stabilized according to our own “Smart Factory” cast quality control system. [Business description] Our integrated production covers mainly medium to small automobile parts, design (assistance) for various engine parts and industrial machine parts, mold design and production, die casting, machine work, and sub-assembly. [Industry] Die casting [Strength of products/technologies] We have realized high productivity by adopting die cast automation lines and multi-cavity molds. We are able to secure the required quality right from the launch of new products. This is done by using computer simulations to analyze mold temperatures and the fluidity of molten metal. [Representative's message] Our company was established in 1926 and started with sand mold casting. I succeeded to the business in 1986 when the former president passed away. Our subsequent expansion started with orders for engine parts and exterior parts from Mitsubishi Fuso and Mitsubishi Heavy Industry, and then continued with automatic transmission parts for Aisin AW. Both of these required mass production efforts on our side. We tried to enhance our casting technology and quality while responding to these needs, and to retain human resources within the company. We are hoping to expand our business by looking at opportunities overseas. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] (We already have dealings with major companies and overseas companies.) [Market share/Ranking] Our company has a share of around 1% of domestic Japanese production of die cast products. [Awards and media coverage] Nikkan Sangyo Shimbun, morning edition front page (November 22, 2013), “New Technology in Die Cast Welding” (joint development with Technol Eight). [Authorization/Certification] Acquired ISO 9001 certification (August 1, 2003) and ISO 14001 certification (October 26, 2012). [Joint research and development] Joint development of aluminum joining technology with Technol Eight. [Factory (domestic)] Gifu [Transaction form] Die-cast products, roughage, machining, and assembly. [Transaction terms] Products can be delivered in various forms, such as die casting roughage, or after the materials are machine processed, attached, assembled, or pressure tested.
