We developed a fish-finder, washing unit, and water-flow type washing machine by utilizing applications of ultrasonic wave technology.

We manufacture dies for plastic mold injection and die-casting type dies. We can make stepless PL (parting line) dies with a step of 0.02 or less. We have developed 2-color molding dies using gradations for decorative molding, and real-design dies that represent the true feeling of a material. Dies with difficult coating plans can be used in every extraction direction. This is done by making the best use of the mechanics of multi-step extraction and multi-step slide extraction mechanisms.

[Company strength]
We have received a lot of information in tie-ups with various steel manufacturers. We select optimal steel for each application based on this information. We make the best use of our strength by manufacturing and managing processes independently and in an integrated manner. This covers from material processing to finishing processing, hardening and tempering, and thermal processing of surface nitriding. We also assure the perpendicularity of the reference surface of a die up to on the order of a thousandth. This is realized by means of 3-surface simultaneous processing using a 3-surface grinder. All adjustments of the PL surface of a die are finished with a high-precision machining process using an MC automatic machine. We make our best effort to take good care of the material and the basic technology, and to manufacture dies with high durability, quality, and added value.

We design and manufacture dies for thermoplastic resin and thermosetting resin plastic mold injection, and die-casting type aluminum and magnesium dies. We can make hardening dies from general-purpose resin to products for super-engineering plastics. We can manufacture types and sizes from precision dies to those for 650-ton molding machines. We make a wide range of products from functional parts with complex shapes to products with specially designed shapes. You can contact our engineers if you have any problems in manufacturing at the design-in stage of development. We can provide satisfactory dies based on meetings with our engineers.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Manufacturing stepless PL dies: We have eliminated level difference defects in design plating products by manufacturing with a PL step of 0.02 or less. We have eliminated water leakage for products for O-ring seal portions. Manufacturing decorative molding dies: We can manufacture 2-color molding dies using gradations, real-design dies that represent the true feeling of a material, and design dies with geometrical patterns. Designs are created with dedicated CAD and engraved with a laser processing machine. Manufacturing dies using a multi-step extraction mechanism: We make every effort to apply various mechanisms when the casting plan is difficult for certain dies. We use multi-step extraction, multi-step slide extraction, and support for every direction of extraction.

The starting point of Monozukuri craftsmanship is located in dies. Our company has been focusing on its core business with the corporate philosophy of “Manufacturing dies that satisfy the customer” ever since its foundation. We aim to create a production system rather than simply making tools (objects). Thirty years ago our work was to manufacture the shape that was required. Today’s requirements are for dies with high quality and high added value that take productivity into consideration, and production systems including peripheral equipment. We hope to continue to supply excellent production systems to the domestic and overseas markets, and to focus on maintenance.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Local procurement at overseas locations has been advancing in the automobile industry. However, many of the dies for key parts are mostly produced in Japan. This is because of difficulties in intellectual property protection and local procurement. In this context, we focus on dies that have a high degree of difficulty, and we are trying to move our company organization towards overseas business expansion. Maintenance becomes a problem at overseas locations if we maintain domestic manufacturing. This is why we started to form tie-ups with overseas local companies from 2012. In this system, design and production of the main parts are carried out in Japan and simple parts manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance are carried out by overseas local companies. We have already established this businesses style in Tianjin, China.
