We developed environmentally friendly tape-type polishing equipment that reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Our company develops and manufactures tape-type super-finish polishing equipment. We adopt a lapping film processing method as a polishing tape technology. This enables nano-scale processing of various surfaces, including flat and curved surfaces, the inside and outside surfaces of cylinders, and irregular surfaces. We have developed an extensive lineup for many kinds of processing, such as processing of flat surfaces, spherical surfaces, and curved surfaces.

[Company strength]
The technological innovation and level of the latest high-tech products have been remarkably enhanced. This includes electronics devices in the automobile, construction machinery, electronics, and circuit board industries. Our tape-type polishing equipment has become indispensable in the final polishing process of various components. Reducing surface roughness leads to a lower friction coefficient, thereby improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions. The thickness of next-generation circuit boards and liquid crystal displays is also being reduced, and silicon wafer diameters are being enlarged and refined. This is why entirely new processing methods are required in these fields. Our tape-type polishing method has attracted considerable attention in these fields.

[Business description]
Our company designs, develops, manufactures, and sells equipment for super-finish polishing with lapping tape. It is capable of nano-scale polishing of flat and curved surfaces, the inside and outside surfaces of cylinders, and irregular surfaces. We manufacture fully automatic and semi-automatic machines that can conduct processing using both dry and wet methods.

Tape-type super-finish polishing equipment manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
Our lapping tape type polishing equipment is widely used in industries such as automobiles, construction machinery, and electronics. Considering this, we can say that our company is in a globally leading position. Japanese lapping tape makers overwhelm the makers of other countries both in quality and quantity, so we are in a favorable environment for developing such equipment. We believe that this environment drives the precision and quality of products even higher.

[Representative's message]
The Japanese automobile and construction machinery industries are rapidly setting up factories in the US, China, and Southeast Asian countries. Our equipment sales for these regions are also growing significantly. We intend to consider how to secure after-sales personnel and how to cultivate new markets in these regions. The electronics industry in particular is more focused on Southeast Asia. We will collaborate with existing trading companies and other companies in the same line of business in these countries to further expand sales.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Most of our dealings both domestically and overseas are conducted through major trading companies, so dollar-based transactions do not bother us. We intend to promote overseas expansion without changing our organizational framework for the time being.
We will proceed with future sales expansion in Southeast Asia while always considering possible partnerships with local trading companies and manufacturers.
Sales expansion in the US is more difficult than other regions in terms of fuel efficiency, reduction of fuel consumption, and the environment. We will introduce our processing method targeting the US auto industry’s “Big Three,” and advance while considering the possibility of M&A with a US company in the same trade.
