D&D Co., Ltd.

We provide the Permeate inorganic-system sealing agent, which seals fine cracks and protects all base materials from degradation.

We are expanding development and manufacturing of our Permeate inorganic sealing agent. Permeate contains alkoxysilane as its main ingredient. It completely plugs micro-pores and firmly adheres to base materials such as steel and galvanized steel. This effect gives Permeate characteristics such as thermal spraying sealing and preventing concrete deterioration caused by water, salt, and acid rain.

[Company strength]
PERMEATE which is sealer of inorganic materials with solvent-free mainly composed of alkoxysilane has a high reputation in the market that takes advantage of its unique characteristics such as superior ultraviolet light resistance heat resistance and high hardness. D&D is a technology oriented company to focus on new product development that can help to meet the customers' needs.

Our sealing agent and coating material are mainly made of alkoxysilane. They are inorganic and non-solvent. They have received high evaluations in areas that utilize the inorganic polymer’s sealing characteristics, such as resistance to UV light, heat resistance, high hardness, etc. We hope to develop material that matches the characteristics of the applied base material and the customer’s needs, and provide them for supporting our customers’ new product development.

[Business description]
D&D is the manufacture and sales of inorganic sealing materials named as PERMEATE that has the unique characteristics of penetrating and plugging the micro-pores of substrate completely.

PERMEATE sealer is applied

1) Thermal spraying steel to protect from corrosion

2) Concrete protection to prevent deterioration by attacking with water salt acid rain carbon dioxide gas

3) Wood protection

4) Tile & stone protection by plugging micro-pores of substrate

5) Steel & galvanized steel protection due to the superior characteristics of UV resistance non-flammable so on.

We mainly develop, manufacture, and sell an inorganic sealing material named Permeate. It has the unique characteristics of completely penetrating and plugging micro-pores of substrates. Its sealing characteristics are as follows.
1) Sealing of thermal spraying.
2) Prevention of concrete deterioration caused by the penetration of water, salt, acid rain, carbon dioxide gas, etc., into the micro-pores of the concrete.
3) Wood protection.
4) We are expanding its use to fall prevention for tiles, and quality modification of base materials that have micro-pores, such as preventing the staining of stones.
Our product firmly adheres to any base materials such as steel and galvanized steel. We are also expanding its use to coating applications by making use of its superior resistance to UV light and non-flammability characteristics, and so on.

Inorganic chemical product manufacturing

[Strength of products/technologies]
PERMEATE is one component solvent-free coating materials that can support the eco-balance between people and nature. PERMEATE is an inorganic polymer therefore it has a long-term durability that can reduce the life cycle cost of steel concrete stone tile and wood structures that will contribute to a sustainable society.

Permeate is a non-solvent material, so it can support the natural ecological balance with people. Permeate is inorganic, so the life cycle cost of base materials to which it is applied, like concrete and steel, can be reduced by preventing deterioration for a long period. Permeate contributes to realizing a sustainable society.

[Representative's message]
D&D is committed to develop new product and expand new market by promoting the uniqueness of PERMEATE that are superior ultraviolet light resistance heat resistance long-term durability as inorganic polymer. We believe PERMEATE can contribute to a sustainable society. We are looking for new opportunity in the counties where a large amount of ultraviolet light is attacked such as the oversea countries close to the equator in particular however as our initial mission we will pursue a significant cost reduction first locally and then we will challenge our business expansion in oversea countries.

We are working to expand the market to promote social awareness of our products, and to develop new products. We are doing this by making use of the characteristics of an organic polymer of resistance to UV light and heat, and to contribute to realizing a sustainable society. We expect to expand to overseas markets, and especially tropical countries where UV light is strong. However, for the time being we hope to expand the scale of our business. This will be indispensable for pursuing significant reductions in the product price.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
1) Enhance the research and development capability

2) Expand the sales & marketing capability not only through agents but also OEM supply

1) Enhancement of our R&D organization.
2) Expansion of our agents and OEM partners. (Our agents conduct sales activities; we provide technical support only.)
