We are engaged in coating of optical components, which are in increasing demand for diversification and improved quality, with our vacuum deposition technologies cultivated through our long experience in glass lens manufacturing.  We have successfully added different functions to antireflection films, such as broadband  low-reflection,  high heat-resistance,  anti-static, and antifouling.  We have also achieved the creation of high-transparency Indium-Tin-Oxide (ITO) films.  We have introduced the latest multi-layer deposition devices and precision washing machines for high-quality filter processing as part of our efforts for product quality improvement.

[Company strength]
We have, within our company group, departments for deposition, plastic injection lens molding, and hard coating.  We use our self-developed cooling control technologies in molding of large-diameter aspherical glass lenses for monitoring cameras .  With our surface treatment technologies, we can handle all manufacturing processes in an integrated manner, from molding to deposition for resin and glass materials.  This is one of our strengths.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Customers are requiring smaller and lighter products.  This applies to optical components, while customers also require more accurate technologies and higher product quality.  We have introduced the latest equipment to respond to such customer needs in our integrated technologies that cover development and design.  Our technologies and products include: a heat-resistant anti-reflection layer for optical resin parts in cars; high-durability metal mirrors with a hybrid configuration of metal and dielectrics; wide broadband antireflection films with anti-static functions; anti-reflection layers on acrylic resin with antifouling functions and without undercoating; low-reflection, high-transparency Indium-Tin-Oxide (ITO) films with multi-layer film deposition.

[Representative's message]
Since our establishment in 1956,  we have developed various technologies as a manufacturer of optical products.  We were the first Japanese manufacturer who coated glass lenses and manufactured contact lenses  on a commercial scale.  We currently manufacture high-performance plastic lenses for glasses with our world-class coating technologies, and perform coating of optical components that are used in various industries.  As a total manufacturer of optical products , we will continue to provide products required by clients with our advanced technical and development capabilities.

We have an organizational structure to handle transactions with major companies and respond to overseas expansion.  Our overseas division handles overseas sales of glass lenses, and our No.2 sales division handles sales of hard coating liquid.
