We handle surface treatment for metal work , such as anodization of aluminum alloy , industrial electroless nickel plating , electroplating,  and electrolytic polishing.  We can handle zinc plating for mass-produced motorcycle parts and auto parts. For customers further away, we can handle processing as well based on provided drawings, in addition to surface treatment.  We have developed our original surface treatment methods,  such as semi-conductive anodized aluminum (strong against

 static) and hard anodized aluminum (excellent corrosion

 resistance).

[Company strength]
We were founded as “Maeda plating industry” in 1933 , and celebrated our 80th anniversary in 2013.  Throughout our history, we have undertaken surface treatment for major companies both in and outside of the local area.  We are located in Kumamoto prefecture in  Kyushu.  We perform surface treatment mainly for semiconductor manufacturing equipment parts, FPD manufacturing equipment parts, jigs and tools used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.  Since quality requirements for all these items are strict, we have conducted through inspections, checking everything from flaws of accepted goods to shipped items.  We can handle zinc plating for mass-produced motorcycle parts and auto parts, as well.

[Business description]
Surface treatment of metal work, anodization of aluminum alloy (normal,  black,  hard , hard black,  conductive,  and super-hard  etc.),  industrial electroless nickel plating (aluminum alloy,  and various iron materials),  electroplating (zinc plating plus trivalent chromate , industrial chrome plating,  nickel plating,  and nickel/chrome plating  etc.), and  electrolytic polishing (SUS material  aluminum material)  etc.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We have developed our original surface treatments based on customer needs. Our Cosmo coat is conductive alumite with anti-static characteristics.  It has been adopted as a surface treatment for components sensitive to static including jigs and tools for semiconductor manufacturing processes.  Our e-Mite UH is super-hard alumite with a hardness of Hv600 (equivalent to hardened steel).  The adoption of e-Mite makes it possible to reduce the total weight by replacing iron parts with aluminum ones.  Our e-Mite CL is hard alumite with excellent corrosion resistance causing no film cracking (which becomes the origin of corrosion).  Other treatments include BS-ET treatment, which prevents  peeling electrification, and the thin film Teflon coating KBM-CF treatment, which can be used for tolerance parts.
Our proactiveness towards development has been highly regarded, and we have received many awards, including New product grand awards “Excellence Prize” in the 24th Small and medium enterprises excellent new technology and the 5th Monozukuri (Manufacturing) Nippon Grand Award “Kyushu Bureau of Economy Trade and Industry Director Prize.” We have also obtained media coverage from Nikkei Tech-On!

Under our slogan “Kumabo metal infinite ,” we are going to beef up our sales activities to meet customer needs across the nation with our unique technologies and high quality products and services.  We also intend to increase the number of technical staff members to respond to customers better, and expand our business into different sectors leveraging our technological and quality control abilities gained through the semiconductor business.

For customers further away, we can handle processing as well based on provided drawings, in addition to surface treatment.  This one-stop order will shorten the required time for delivery of parts, as well as time and labor for shipping.  We have no organizational structure to handle orders from overseas at present.
