Our company manufactures small to micro sized ultra precision parts that can fit in the palm of a hand. We have particular strength in functional parts that require lathe machining, where precise specifications of circularity, concentricity and surface roughness are required. We handle the machining of everything from soft metals to rare metals and hard to machine materials.

[Company strength]
We handle the machining of parts for which volume demand is not large ? including small lot, mixed variety orders ? in the automotive, semiconductor manufacturing, aircraft and medical fields. Our company has established a track record of leading numerous prototyping and development projects to successful outcomes by capitalizing on our adroitness and rapid response. We have been called on to consult in many cases that have not gone well at competitors. And we have earned JIS Q 9100 certification of quality control to International Aerospace Defense Standards.

[Business description]
We focus on the machining of small to micro sized ultra precision parts using compound lathes, ordinary and multi-axis machining, electrical discharge machining, vibration cutting, grinding and the like. We are capable of handling multiple types in lots as small as a single piece, and working with difficult to machine materials. We operate on an integrated basis from the acquisition of materials to machining, surface treatment, heat treatment and quality control.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We specialize only in items that can fit on the fingertips or palm of the hand. Our customers rate us highly, particularly for lathe machining of functional parts requiring precise circularity, cylindricality, concentricity and surface roughness ? even for parts with varied and difficult shapes. We have extremely stringent criteria for defects, and customers can visit us to inspect the items on an electron microscope. We handle all kinds of materials, from soft metals like pure steel, copper and aluminum to difficult to cut materials such as stainless, titanium, Kovar and Hastelloy alloys. We even work with rare metals, including molybdenum, tungsten and nickel.

Fifty years have passed since the founding of our company. We see production today shifting away from the technology oriented country of Japan to newly emerging countries. I feel that this is the time to reflect on the state of manufacturing enterprises, and what they will do as speed of response and technical capabilities become increasingly important. This is an environment of rapid evolution and dramatic change. Our company is working with a spirit of continuing to challenge the world, and of being a company that is soundly managed and relied upon by its customers.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We have not yet established an internal organization specifically to deal with large enterprises. Responsibility is currently divided among the president, executive director, plant manager, quality control manager and sales. Business to date has been primarily domestic. We thus have no track record in parts machining for overseas customers, and may have issues in terms of language capabilities. We will, however, consider and respond to requests to the best of our abilities, as appropriate to the circumstances.
