The purpose of metalworking is to process various metal materials such as iron, steel, aluminum, and copper into shapes and dimensions suitable for use. Metalworking technologies have a wide range of applications from ships, bridges, and other large items to decorative parts, precision parts, and other small articles. These technologies can roughly be classified into forming, cutting, and joining. Forming changes the shape of a metal material without removing any part of it. Cutting removes part of a material by using edged tools. Joining can be subclassified into welding, brazing, and soldering. Their purpose is to melt and unite metals with each other, or to bond a metal and a thermoplastic substance. Metalworking is now being extended even to difficult-to-process magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys. It is indispensable for Monozukuri (Manufacturing) craftsmanship.

Our company has been engaged in stainless steel part processing for precision machinery since its establishment in 1972. Our business has now expanded to target the food, medicine, chemical fiber, liquid crystal, and semiconductor industries. Our sales volume has grown using the strength of our integrated production system that comprehensively covers phases from raw material procurement to assembly, including machining, welding, and polishing processes. We have also established a precision molding technology that applies high-impact hydraulic pressure to difficult-to-process materials for the first time in the world. This is a result of joint R&D with Okayama University in addition to our accumulated knowledge. One of its applications is manufacturing high precision denture bases. Laser brazing

[Features of laser] Since the laser has the fiber core of φ0.4mm and a short wavelength of 4kW / 910+940+980+1030nm, it is easily absorbed by brazing wires. [Features of processing head] The wire tip that touches the welded part can be used as a position sensor, which makes tracing of the welded part possible; the processing head can move flexibly in both vertical and horizontal directions in relation to the curved areas of the welded part; and it can follow the moving speed of robots, thus making stable brazing possible even at a high speed.
