Beautiful green and blue natural stone material created by nature: rare natural stone “Towada-ishi”

We have spent more than 40 years since our establishment in Hinai-machi, Odate City, Japan, to produce a brand in Japan and overseas of "natural blue stone (Towada-ishi)" for building construction from underground resources. 
(1) Eco-friendly stone tiles for construction
The beautifully interwoven green and blue colors of this natural stone, with its exceptional texture, shine gently and beautifully, and are called the "blue of tranquility”. Since the material exceptionally soft and does not become slippery when wet, it has long been used in hot springs and bathhouses. 

(2) Stone grains and powder as agricultural material
Research with the cooperation and guidance of various universities and related organizations has revealed that grains and powder of Towada-ishi are useful for soil improvement. 

As a local industry in the Nakano district of Hinai-machi, Odate City, we would like to promote the Towada-ishi brand on a worldwide scale.
