About Shiraishi Kogyo

Shiraishi Kogyo is a plastic processing company in Meguro Ward with 55 years of history. Specializing in injection molding, Shiraishi Kogyo produces tiny coil bobbins that are inside bicycles, TVs, smartphones, microwaves, and other everyday electrical appliances. In total, we have produced tens of millions of products.
To satisfy the advanced requests of our customers, we are constantly developing molding and die and mold technologies that are centered on the thermosetting molding technology.

Until the product is finished

Product design - die design - production

We also support molded product design from 3D data and design standards provided to us by our customers. We evaluate designs based on the die and mold standards and present our proposals to our customers for their approval.
We use appropriate machines to produce dies and molds that can be used in the creation of molded products having the quality required by our customers.

Molding prototype

We conduct trial manufacturing when using new molds to verify that the customer is satisfied with the quality of products before they enter mass production. 

Measurement evaluation (pass, fail)

We inspect measurements based on the product drawing. If there is a mistake, we correct the mold and create a new prototype.  After the trial production, we conduct in-house inspection to verify whether the product has achieved the PPM required by the customer for mass production. 
If the product does not pass the inspection, we correct the design, create a new prototype, and repeat the process until it passes the required criteria.

Molding

We produce the first piece after obtaining pre-first piece examination approval from our customers.

Terminal press-in

For the mass production of coil bobbins, HCP wire is press-fitted using the terminal press-in machine. 

Inspection - packing - shipping

We conduct sample inspection based on our in-house standards.  We wrap the product based on the wrapping standard approved by our customer and use appropriate wrapping materials to prevent any damage. If we have stock, we offer same-day shipping for customers in Japan and overseas.
