[Company strength]
Our company often provides consultation about problems, and even major companies consult us. We have built up Monozukuri craftsmanship know-how and networks with companies in different categories. Our networks include high-level technical institutes and organizations like the Tokyo Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology Toyota College (NITTC). We make use of our know-how and networks to try to solve problems in any category, and even those refused by other companies. We consider matters with our customers from the standpoints of users and manufacturers and find solutions to problems. We are continuing to grow by building up new know-how.


[Business description]
Our president's uncle established our company as Yamada Iron Works Co., Ltd. in 1959. We have manufactured building materials, jigs, and parts using iron, steel, stainless steel, and other metal materials. We have also designed and produced devices with movable mechanisms. These mechanisms include various opening and closing mechanisms, such as shutters, smoke exhaust devices, windows, duct dampers, and sky hatches. We became an independent engineering company in 1980. We have manufactured damping devices for wooden houses, parts for dental and medical instruments, and sound-sleep beds with body posture and pressure change functionality. Our products include jigs and tools for coating, plating, thermal treatment, and automobile development. We also provide technologies for new product development.

[Representative's message]
Our company has always actively taken on the challenge of solving customer or manufacturing problems when we are consulted in any field. We have been doing this since our establishment. We have accumulated technologies and know-how by developing and commercializing products that are free of such problems. We also have built up networks with local companies, universities, and development divisions of major companies. We apply our experience and networks to solve even small problems and to develop products. We consider matters with customers from the standpoints of users and manufacturers. We will also make use of J-GoodTech to promote new Monozukuri craftsmanship by looking ahead to future times.


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Our company develops and sells the K-SiB damping device in collaboration with TOKAI EC Co., Ltd. and Forward Co., Ltd. We have support from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and NITTC. We will also make use of J-GoodTech to promote market cultivation for our damping devices. These include our Power Guard aseismic reinforcing device and Kagu Bannin furniture securing bracket. Our products include unique sound-sleep beds that help with caregiving and sound sleep via body posture and pressure (effects of turning over in bed). We will cultivate markets for our damping devices through SME house builders and for our sound-sleep bed through caregiving bed sales agencies and contractors.
