[Company strength]
Our distinctive technologies are ultra-high-precision die processing technology, high-precision hot press forming technology, and extra-large lens processing technology. Our company manufactures dies with the latest die processing machines that achieve ultra-high precision at the nanometer level, in combination with the know-how we have been accumulating since our establishment. We possess both equipment and technologies. One example is our high-precision hot press forming technology, which accurately transfers the shape of a high-precision die to plastic, thus creating sheet lenses in the exact form required. Our equipment allows us to create extra-large products, including 200-inch screens, and 70-inch hot-press-formed lenses. 


[Business description]
Our company is a plastic lens pioneer, and we manufacture Fresnel lenses and other special lenses. Our operations cover all phases of plastic lens production from die making to finished products, including both trial manufacturing and mass production. The lens curvature in a Fresnel lens is laid out on a flat surface to reduce space and weight, and to make the focal length shorter than the aperture. They are often used in lighting units for inspection equipment and LEDs, as well as in sensors. Our sheet lenses are also attracting attention because they were recently adopted for inspection equipment for semiconductors and electronic devices, as well as in lighting equipment used in large stadiums.

[Representative's message]
The roll dies we make for optical film production feature ultra-high precision (process resolving power of 10 nm). We also have the ability to make extra-large products (maximum roll length of 3,500 mm). We will continue to satisfy various customer needs based on our deep knowledge about the properties of various plastic lenses. We serve our customers by applying our experience, lens design techniques, high-precision die manufacturing technology, self-developed high-precision machining tools, and high-precision press forming and shape transfer technologies. 


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
We can make Fresnel lenses and lenticular lenses in large sizes, up to the 200-inch range. These large lenses are mostly used at exhibitions and other large places where many people gather. We have delivered 200-inch Fresnel lenses, and huge Fresnel lenses where the length of each side is 3.3 m, for use in concentrating sunlight. We are pursuing a project to develop naked-eye 3D images that do not require dedicated eyeglasses, and we have also developed germanium Fresnel lenses for infrared light. Fresnel lenses are thin and lightweight, so we anticipate they can be applied to a wide range of uses such as on-vehicle devices, medical equipment, and aviation instruments.
