Our company possesses unique technology for forming polymer monoliths.
We have confidence in our technology for forming polymer bodies (polymer monoliths) that have through holes and frameworks of co-continuous structures. We possess advanced technology for polymer monolith development, and we have filed a total of 17 patent applications. This includes unique technology for causing catalysts to be supported on polymer monolith surfaces. We manufacture epoxy-resin chromatograph HPLC columns and reactors by applying polymer monoliths. We successfully developed a thin-film polymer monolith with micron-order thickness. This was done by applying the technologies we have accumulated to date. We are proceeding to develop it further by considering it as a breakthrough leading to the development of a lithium-ion electrolytic film.
[Company strength] Our technology power resulted in the development of our unique polymer monolith, and we have filed a total of 17 patent applications. Our company has industry-university partnerships and human resource networks in Japan and abroad that can fully compensate for the disadvantages of our company as a small startup. We have been developing products for a wide variety of uses. Our main products are currently chromatograph HPLC columns and reactors based on the application of our polymer monolith. [Business description] Our company mainly manufactures and sells various epoxy resin products with monolithic structures, and we also conduct R&D on new porous polymer bodies (polymer monoliths). We apply polymer monoliths to develop various products. These include separation media for highly efficient high-speed liquid chromatography (HPLC columns), flow-type organic synthesis reactors (catalyst carriers), and separators for highly reliable lithium-ion batteries. [Industry] Plastic product R&D and manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] Forming polymer bodies (polymer monoliths) that have micrometer-order through holes and frameworks of co-continuous structures is a top-ranking niche technology. Co-continuous structures formed by combining polymerization and phase separation processes are very uniform and make it possible to control fine bore diameters. Causing catalysts to be supported on polymer monolith surfaces is our company’s unique technology. [Representative's message] Our business is now in its growth period. We will initially focus on column manufacturing and sales in the separation and analysis field and reactors in the synthesis field to establish our business foundation. This will be done by making use of our polymer monolith manufacturing technology, which is how we will further strengthen our core business. We are also simultaneously promoting technical development for batteries and in other fields to establish another core business. We are considering how to increase sales by conducting R&D on consignment from major manufacturers in addition to selling in-house products. We aim to have our separation and synthesis system become the de-facto standard by expanding its use to various purposes and building up our brand. We will extend our lineup of HPLC columns and reactors, and we will consider technical licensing and OEM supply in addition to manufacturing and selling products under our own brand.
