[Company strength]
Our company elaborates designs by making use of the know-how and experience we have accumulated to date, and we entrust part machining to over 50 partner companies in Ota Ward. We assemble manufactured parts in-house to complete assembled products. We flexibly satisfy customer requests for performance, pricing, and delivery date by making use of a cross-contracting network.

[Business description]
We accept prototyping and development orders from customers (research groups of universities and companies) and design and manufacture products under an integrated system. Our products include precision equipment, medical and welfare equipment, and general industrial equipment. We handle metal, resin, rubber, and wood materials. The former president established our company in 1969 and we have been engaged in trial manufacturing of artificial hearts ever since.

[Strength of products/technologies]
We specialize in a niche field and design and manufacture trial products with added value. We visited the local prefectural police for a different matter, and they said the safety cones they had been using could not fit into the trunks of police cars. They said that collapsible cones would be handy. This was the source of the idea for our Patacone product, which we commercialized in a joint development project. We have sold more than 40,000 pieces.

[Representative's message]
It is a feature of our company that we can give shape to what had not existed before (even overseas) by combining various elements from various angles. Our tactile drawing pen has no equivalent even outside Japan, and attracts people at exhibitions and demonstrations. However, the unit price is as high as about 100,000 yen. We are now manufacturing molds for mass production with a subsidy from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, which will be completed soon. We will also expand sales of a low-priced version to the overseas market.

We have over fifty partner companies, and our design and arrangement staff know their particular strengths in machining. We can manufacture products with various kinds of materials, accuracy, and shapes by assigning the right people to the right positions. We can make use of this network to develop products with added value and expand our business to overseas markets.
