Asahi Sangyou Co., Ltd.
Our company has an established presence throughout Japan with our excellent plating technology.
We have been developing our surface treatment business for more than 90 years since our foundation in 1919. We possess various plating technologies based on our many years of accumulated expertise and experience, including gold, silver, copper, tin, nickel, chrome, and zinc. We also handle surface treatment with a high degree of difficulty, such as partial plating and plating for objects with complicated shapes. We have won many prizes in the All-Japan Plating Technology Competition, which commends enterprises with excellent plating technology. Our company has the fifth-highest number of commendations in Japan, and we have an established presence in the plating industry. We also handle processing associated with plating, such as buff grinding, chemical oxidation, and pickling.
[Company strength] We have the advantage of being able to find solutions about plating that other companies find difficult to solve. We have achieved plating on Bakelite, plating for waveguides, plating on objects with complicated shapes, and so on. All of our company staff members (except new hires) possess government qualifications as First-Grade or Second-Grade Plating Technicians and so on. This is how we can offer processing as a group of expert technicians without having to rely on automatic machines. We have won the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare’s Prize in the All-Japan Plating Technology Competition four times. We are also one of only seven enterprises in Japan to win the Premium Award. This attests to the power of our technology. Thanks to our excellent track record we have been doing business with many enterprises (more than 500) for many years. [Business description] We have been responding to customer needs with our plating technology for 95 years since our foundation. We handle general electroplating and associated processing. We support plating including gold, silver, silver bronze, copper, copper bronze, tin, nickel, white bronze, black nickel, decorative, industrial and black chrome, zinc, and electroless nickel. We can apply plating to iron, iron alloy, SUS, copper, copper alloy, aluminum, and zinc die-casting. We also conduct plating for other insulators and associated processing (such as buff grinding, chemical oxidation, and pickling). [Industry] Electroplating [Strength of products/technologies] An advantage of our company is that we can handle plating with a high degree of difficulty. This includes partial plating, multiple plating for a single product, and plating for objects with complicated shapes although the plating itself is ordinary. We can deal with all kinds of customer issues. We can also estimate the approximate delivery time, degree of workmanship, and quality at the preliminary consultation stage. We will propose modifications of the specifications if the customer’s requirements are technically difficult to achieve. We will frankly decline an order if the modified specifications are still technically difficult to achieve. This policy will link to a reduction in extra costs and labor for our customers, as well for our company. [Representative's message] Our goal is to become the top company in Japan for plating technology. We will do our best to find an optimal solution for your requests under the corporate philosophy that technological strength is more important than technology itself. Please feel free to contact us if you are facing any difficulties. We will continue to support Japanese industry through our plating technology.
