[Company strength] Our president, department managers, and other staff are still young, but they can perform thorough reviews after the production of each mold for a plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle. We will work hard to achieve the objectives of our current term (safety, quality, cost, and lead time). We will continue our reviews and improvements to be a company that our customers consider to be unique. Every year we gain an increasing number of customers who appreciate this attitude of ours. [Business description] Our company designs and manufactures sheet metal press molds mainly for automotive parts. We have an integrated in-house production system covering from order reception, design, machining, assembly, and trial production to delivery to customers. We use 3D CAD/CAM for progressive manufacturing of products that are very difficult to mold. [Industry] Press mold design and manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] We have worked hard on the progressive manufacturing of difficult parts that other companies cannot make. We have been doing this in response to strong requests from our customers. Our work has been enabled by the know-how accumulated through our integrated in-house processing from design based on empirical values and reliable machining to reconciliation for final finishing. Our in-house integrated production has also reduced lead times. Our customers highly appreciate our process reduction as well as our progressive production. We have changed a procedure for progressive molding and two one-shot processes and a procedure for seven one-shot processes to progressive molding only. These changes greatly reduced processes and costs. We notify each customer of the product characteristics from the quotation stage and present a method that is effective for the characteristics. Performing thorough design reviews is one of our advantages. [Representative's message] The volume of work fluctuates greatly in the mold industry. Toyota announced a plan to establish three sites in Japan as part of their activities to stably secure work. We have been extending our sales activities since then to press manufacturers from Tohoku to Kyushu to support a wide range of vehicle models. We are also receiving an increasing number of orders from domestic automobile manufacturers other than Toyota. We will brush up our technology and meet customer requests to continue to stably receive orders in the future for steady business development. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Our president has been carrying out flexible sales activities that major companies cannot handle. We will hear out new customers and have detailed discussions for reconciliation so as not to produce discrepancies from the mold images they have in mind. We will also showcase process and cost reductions. [Market share/Ranking] We received top-class rating from a Daihatsu primary manufacturer for our manufacturing of progressive press molds for difficult-to-mold parts. We have no rivals regarding shortness of lead time according to a Mazda primary manufacturer. [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] [Media] Trading firms and the like have introduced our work-securing device (registered as a utility model) through the Internet. [Authorization/Certification] ISO 9001 certification (December 2008). [Joint research and development] We experimentally created high-tension difficult-to-mold materials jointly with a secondary press manufacturer of an automobile manufacturer. [Main Clients / Business History (domestic)] Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd., Futaba Industrial Co., Ltd., Enoki Corporation, and Niitech Co., Ltd. [Main Clients / Business History (overseas)] We ship customer molds to the local factories of customers outside Japan (USA, UK, Czech Republic, China, Mexico, and Taiwan). [Exhibition History/Information] In December 2014 we announced our "Zero Error Activity for Primary Machining" at a customer's QC presentation meeting.
