The reason behind this is the know-how we have cultivated during our days as a field blacksmith*, in addition to our ability to handle all kinds of work on a consistent basis. Craftsmen who know all about the characteristics of iron and steel perform processing and installation, so we can respond to the client's requests to the greatest extent possible. What is a "field blacksmith"? A blacksmith, also called a "farmer's blacksmith," forged a wide variety of tools, including kitchen knives for home use, hatchets for mountain work, and harpoons for harpooning fish in the sea, in addition to farming tools. The former town of Tsurugi in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, where our company is located, was a place where the blacksmithing industry was so prosperous that it was known as "Tsurugi, the sword with the sharpest blade".
