Our ability is number three worldwide in terms of the production of polycarbonate polarizing lenses.
We are the only Japanese company that produces "polycarbonate polarizing lenses" for the USA. The lenses are free from wrinkles and can be curved according to the design. Hard coat treatment is performed in our company which can adjust lens thickness or the like in accordance with design changes. Therefore, we are able to flexibly meet requirements in accordance with clients' specifications.
This method allows for the molding of highly transparent products that are resistant to scratches. -We perform injection molding in a clean room. -We are equipped with molding machines the clamping force of which ranges from 140 to 280 t. -We mainly process the material polycarbonate (PC) resin to produce products with excellent "transparency," "thermal resistance," and "shock resistance." -We produce high-quality products the molded thickness of which ranges from approx. 1.5 mm to approx. 15 mm. -Injection molding allows for the production of products with stable shapes. -In our company, we are able to perform hard coat treatment (surface treatment for preventing scratches) for improving excoriation resistance.
We are able to bend sheets whose surface is covered by a hard coat film. This is a processing method in which we consider shrinkage of the sheet (plastic plate) and extract the sheet with a designated size. The extracted sheet is heated again, placed on a plate heated to a preset temperature, sucked to firmly adhere to the plate, and then formed in accordance with the curve of the plate. The dispersion of the curves of products is adjusted by our original processing technology for preventing wrinkles, patterns, as well as cracks and by thorough temperature control. We are able to bend PC plates the thickness of which ranges from 0.3 to 1.5 mm. By applying our original technology, we are able to bend sheets whose surface is covered by a hard coat (HC) film.
CFI (coated film insertion injection)
This is a production method in which we set a PC sheet, whose surface is covered by a hard coat (HC) film, in a metal mold to perform injection molding. -When the processing is finished, a product with excellent excoriation resistance can be formed, reducing delivery deadlines and costs. -Since PC resin is used, we are able to form products with excellent "shock resistance" and "thermal resistance." -In our company, we are able to perform hard coat treatment (surface treatment for preventing scratches) for improving excoriation resistance.
