We place importance on consultations with clients to surely understand the social needs and clients' requirements to reflect such in planning and design. In order to express the image envisioned by clients in detail, whenever possible, we use visual means such as sketches during and after the consultation stage to visualize clients' ideas. 
Since we have a broad in-house production system covering planning, design, development design, and production, we are able to swiftly proceed with work, utilizing the visualized ideas. In addition, by cooperating with various external subcontracting companies, we, for example, make proposals for combinations with different materials. Since we have our own factories, which is an advantage to us, we flexibly design various products to materialize them.

Unlike furniture for home use, furniture for business purposes is required to have reliable functionality as well as safety and a design that matches a space, although the furniture is surrounded by various restrictions. Through the OEM production of leading manufacturers' products for many years, we have nurtured the skills required for producing high-quality products. 
In addition, we are able to design not only products made of wood, a natural material that we have cherished, but also products that are a combination of wood and another material such as metal or resin. We can propose unprecedented, next-generation furniture to public or medical facilities that place importance on safety. We proceed with the production processes while maintaining close contact with clients. Therefore, when a client desires to expand the market for an existing product, we are able to make more accurate proposals that meet the needs of the market.

Our staff, who supports the manufacturing business of TOKIWA manufacturing Co., Ltd., is constantly making progress, aiming to further improve their abilities. In our factories, the workers are required to have multiple skills, and a system called a skill map has been established. The system determines the scope of their work in accordance with their proficiency. From the viewpoints of not only techniques but also various factors, our factories have a system in which points for engineers to make progress in are quantified to urge them to increase their skill levels. 
Through these various approaches, we urge our staff to make progress so as to achieve precise accuracy, which machines cannot achieve, and nurture skills for creating more rational processes and streamlining tasks. The accuracy and skills contribute to the maintenance of TOKIWA's quality. The reasons why our staff can passionately work in such a way as mentioned above are that they have a strong passion for manufacturing, and that an environment supporting a positive attitude toward endless challenges is deeply rooted in TOKIWA.
