[Company strength]
About 20 million tons of oil palm trunks are generated every year by the Indonesian palm oil industry alone. Our company will make use of this huge amount of industrial waste as a material. We will make use of the intrinsic self-adhesiveness of the palm instead of chemical glue to develop products that are friendly to people and the environment. These products can be used as countermeasures against predisposition to allergies, sick house syndrome, and so on. We can also develop other all-weather products such as exterior construction materials, and floor panels for trucks and containers. A simulation by the JICA project consulting company Accenture indicates that this business plan is estimated to achieve about 45% in operating profit. 



[Business description]
Oil palm trunks are industrial waste generated from the production of palm oil, which is widely used around the world. Our company is preparing an original business plan in which oil palm trunks are used as a material in palm-producing countries like Malaysia and Indonesia to make construction material. This is done using self-adhesive consolidation technology we developed. A preliminary investigation has already been concluded, and the plan will be executed after we review the findings of an on-site feasibility study. We will now improve quality in the necessary product development and marketing phases, develop safe and trusted construction materials based on ISO standards, and offer test sales within the year.

We hope to make use of this matching site to look far and wide for investors for our project, and investing companies for our joint venture. We will demonstrate that this business is sure to be profitable. We hope to make our own contributions regarding various environmental and social issues as the next stage of a JICA project. These include waste disposal, global warming, and job creation and enhanced economic status for the BOP population. 


[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
Indonesia and Malaysia account for 85% of the world’s oil palm plantation area. Our company was established by our president and his company at the Inuyama Chamber of Commerce and Industry. His goal was to set up a production company that makes use of self-adhesive consolidation technology in those countries. We have received technical support and cooperation from other organizations including the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and the Graduate School of Kyoto Prefectural University. We also benefit from the president’s personal connections with a previous company (Inoac) and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). We have the best combination of support in the world for utilizing Japan’s Monozukuri craftsmanship know-how. Our organization is fully prepared to enter the world market.
