Hasshou Sangyou Co., Ltd.
Our comprehensive lines of business include railway-related parts (our main business), machine parts, and plant equipment.
Our company has been in the railway-related business for over 50 years since our establishment. Currently our main businesses are rolling stock part maintenance, and rolling stock modification and enhancement. Our experience helped us to develop technological capabilities that allow us to provide thin plate, stainless steel and aluminum welding, precision sheet metal working, and planning, design and assembly. We have delivered many of our own products for use in stations and rolling stock. These include barriers for attended ticket gates, power generation units, and driver seat units. We also participated in a railway car assembly project for JR Kyushu's Seven Stars in Kyushu luxury sleeper train in addition to product deliveries.
[Company strength] Our company has two Shinkansen bullet train vehicle plants in the northern Kyushu and Shimonoseki areas. We have three railway car and freight car plants to provide maintenance services (inspection, repair, modification) for railway companies. These five plants also provide comprehensive solutions in the railway field, including machine part and plant equipment production. Our Monozukuri craftsmanship division possesses a wide range of machinery and equipment such as CAD/CAM and many certified engineers. We can provide one-stop solutions for various needs, including planning and design, precision sheet metal working, machine canning, welding, and assembly. [Business description] Our company was first designated by Japanese National Railways as a maintenance service provider (assembly and disassembly, repair, inspection) for their rolling stock parts. We later expanded our business to include modification and improvement works (welding, electric wiring, refitting and assembly), and part production for modified rolling stock. Our customer base gradually grew thanks to our welding techniques (thin plates, stainless steel, aluminum, other metals), and precision sheet metal working technology. We are currently in the process of reinforcing our manufacturing division by introducing new equipment, and increasing the number of engineers and sales representatives. We intend to make use of the extensive technological capabilities that we have gained in over 50 years of operation. We also hope to cater to more detailed needs from customers in non-railway fields. [Industry] Transportation machinery and equipment manufacturing [Strength of products/technologies] We process 1 to 6 mm thin aluminum and stainless steel sheet materials in the field of precision sheet metal working. This is done entirely in-house, from design to cutting, bending, welding, and assembly. We introduced the latest fiber laser composite machine to manufacture aluminum and stainless steel products without scratching the surface. [Representative's message] Our company will enhance our added value, technology, and competitive edge as a general technology-oriented company, and aim to offer suitable solutions for the needs of today’s world. We hope that using J-GoodTech will expand our horizons in terms of both our activities and business categories. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] We have six staff members in our technology and sales department, and four people in the design and development department. Our head office is based in Kokura Ward, Kitakyushu City, and our plants are located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City (Futamatase), and Shimonoseki City (Ushiroda). [Market share/Ranking] We have an extensive track record in the rolling stock field. We have delivered our rolling stock signboards to many customers, and they have been favorably received. [Awards and media coverage] [Awards] [Media] [Authorization/Certification] Machinery and equipment installer’s license (granted by the Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture).
