Nichinankagukogeisya Co., Ltd.
We are a woodworking firm that has delivered components to the Boeing Company for over 20 years
Our company mainly manufactures decorating components that require complex processing, as well as 3D-processed products, building components and other related articles. We have established facilities and systems for complex processing. We accomplished quicker delivery of products through the in-house maintenance and alteration of processing blades and machines. Our high-performance CNC router has the capability to carry out 3D processing or to machine large products. We maintain uniform product quality with in-house manufacturing. Our deliveries to the Boeing Company over the past 20-plus years have also been highly appreciated.
[Company strength] We have established a system and facilities for dealing with complex processing of wood that eliminates assembly work. This is so we can focus on the production of components, which leads to better productivity. Our company can also fabricate blades required for wood processing and maintain or alter processing machinery in our own ironwork and electrical divisions. This accomplishes quicker delivery of products. Our high-performance CNC router has the capability to carry out 3D processing or to machine large products. The manufacturing of all products is done in-house and is not outsourced, so the quality of our products is always stable. [Business description] Our company began operation as an ordinary furniture manufacturer with bridal furniture and shop utensils as our main products. We made a gradual shift from the production of these main products to manufacturing building components or special woodworking. We recently rolled out a business strategy for delivering components instead of finished products. This was done in consideration of higher transportation costs in order to open up new markets in the Kanto and Kansai districts and urban areas such as Fukuoka city. We currently manufacture high-value-added decorating components that require complex processing. We also produce 3D-processed products, building components and other related articles. We use our CNC router for processing, which is the pride of our company. [Industry] Woodworking [Strength of products/technologies] Our company has the know-how for the three methods of 2D and 3D processing: cutting from solid wood, bending, and a combination of these two methods. We excel at manufacturing complex 3D-processed products. A workpiece can be processed up to a thickness of 600 mm or outside dimensions of 3 meters. One of our additional strong points is that we can process wood patterns and other large products. Woodworking requiring the size and performance of our CNC router is hardly seen in other companies, because the processing table is small in normal NC routers. Our deliveries to the Boeing Company over the past 20-plus years have also been highly appreciated. [Representative's message] This spring our company will complete the installation of state-of-the-art 3D CAD/CAM systems and mechanical equipment with a high level of cutting performance. This summer we will introduce equipment that improves the fabrication of our own blades. These systems and equipment will be able to increase our productivity, shorten delivery times, and cut costs. We will focus on the development of domestic markets from this fiscal year. Our aim is to boost our share of 2D and 3D processed products to 30%. We will take a leap forward through our new efforts to improve customer satisfaction and make outstanding contributions to the development of the local economy. [Company structure for market development/overseas expansion] Our products are traded through agents. We do not particularly desire to engage in direct trade with large companies, but if we are given the opportunity, we hope to consider such trade. For the time being, we will concentrate our efforts on finding new agent customers. [Market share/Ranking] Our company enjoys a 40 to 60% share of the market for 3D special processed products, and we believe we have a 20 to 40% share of the market for curved or bent products.
