Molds for automotive power trains
We have produced fine blanking molds for over 50 years, and we have also worked on high-speed precision shearing technology in the past 20 years. Our molds are used by automotive parts manufacturers around the world. Their use in combination with AIDA-ULX presses allows higher productivity.
Blanking of extremely thin products
Seventeen years have passed since we started to sell molds for lithium ion batteries used as next-generation energy and production facilities for the molds. We have offered many customers our leading blanking techniques for 10 μm thick copper foil and aluminum foil. These techniques are becoming a pillar of our company. [Company strength]
We used to manufacture tools such as drawing dies and gauges for ultra hard materials at the time of foundation. Through this experience, we have obtained expertise and experience in hand polishing, high precision measurement, as well as quality assurance inspection technologies, which are still our primary focus.  Utilizing these technologies, we then started developing and fabricating fine blanking dies.  In recent years, die manufacturing for automotive and container/beverage can industries have become the two main pillars of our business. We maintain a 50% market share in dies for pull-top beer cans. One half of beer cans sold in Japan are made with dies manufactured by us.

Our company is engaged in design, fabrication and sale of specialized dies for a variety of applications such as automotive, food and beverage containers, information and communications, optical lenses, next generation batteries.  We fabricate dies that suit each customer's equipment, including fine blanking dies, transfer dies, and progressive dies.

[Strength of products/technologies]
Production methods for dies vary among companies in the industry.  We have not stuck to any particular business type. Rather, we manufacture dies suitable for individual customer needs and their equipment, using our know-how gained through making dies for many different industries.  In addition, we can provide continuous trials at a level close to that of mass production in our research and development building, which ensures absolute confidentiality.  We have a proven track record in selling press peripheral devices to automotive, food container, and many other industries.  We are also capable of designing and fabricating a variety of equipment customized for customer specifications, based on our technologies.

We particularly excel in precision cutting of plates at 10 mm or more in thickness or stamping out foils as thin as 10μm, for which we have a lot of orders from the auto and battery industries.  Our core technologies are also utilized in the food container industry to shape the lip of aluminum cans in an easy-to-open way even by elderly citizens and children.

We aim to become a company that will exist in 100 years and that competes over the long term based on its management principles.  After painful experiences in the Lehman shock and the March 2011 Earthquake and tsunami in Japan, we now see growing willingness among our employees to change the current status we are in.   Although the environment around us is increasingly harsh, we will continue competing without shying away from difficulties.

[Company structure for market development/overseas expansion]
In 2011, we set up NS Fine Tool in the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate in Thailand with Nishi Seisakusho, a metal press processing manufacturer, to strengthen our supply and service capabilities for dies within the ASEAN Region.  Also in 2012, we entered into a business alliance with M.I. Molde, a Japanese plastic mold and die manufacturer, who had already been active in Suzhou, China.  We will provide technical assistance, and together with M.I. Molde, we intend to supply dies and die parts to automobile parts manufacturers who are present in China.  Likewise, we entered into a business alliance with Ikegami Mold Engineering in 2013, the company which had already expanded into Mexico.  We will be collaborating in supplying dies and die parts to automobile parts manufacturers in Mexico.
